When Brit’s mom called to tell me that he wanted his senior session to be all about capturing baseball senior portraits at Roger Dean Stadium, I was all in. It took a bit of scheduling, and finagling, but we got the green light and I could not have been more excited to create these story images for him!
Baseball Senior Portraits
Brit’s mom said, “Check out awesome Traci Sproule Photography ….Love her Vision to tell Brit’s Senior Story… Baseball is life in our house.” And it really is. Any senior portrait session featuring Brit had to feature baseball. He played little league. He played travel leagues. He played middle school ball for his school, and pitched Varsity.
So I loved the chance to show off his love for baseball, and his family’s love for the sport in story images. Getting to shoot in Roger Dean Stadium was a huge honor. Having that space all to ourselves for the afternoon was so. much. FUN!
Baseball Portraits at Roger Dean Stadium
Brit’s Varsity baseball team played their “Senior Night” game at the Stadium. He’d watched so many games from those stadium seats. Capturing images of him pitching from that mound was just so cool!
I loved that his family came along for the event, too. This is a family that loves baseball, so catching those images of them enjoying America’s pastime, and commemorating Brit’s senior year, was a lot of fun.
Published in Senior Magazines
I’ve had seniors who wanted baseball senior portraits before, but this was completely one of my favorites! I think the most exciting part, for me, of Brit’s senior session happened later in the year. Several images from Brit’s story session were chosen for publication in Senior Year Magazine and Senior Luxe Magazine. Super exciting!
