Brayton is one of my favorite seniors. He’s an actual straight-up rock star! And his girlfriend is a stunning beauty. So when his mom called me about creating some high school sweetheart portraits before their prom, I was all in. I met them at the Jupiter Lighthouse to collaborate on some truly beautiful prom portrait ideas.

Candid Prom Portrait Ideas
Brayton and Ava were super-cute, from their color-coordinated outfits to their matching electric blue manicures. We started their pre-prom portrait event on the steps of the Jupiter Lighthouse museum with some candid photos of their corsage/boutonniere exchange. I love these un-posed, capturing-the-moment images. Such sweet, high school sweetheart, senior year memories. LOVE!

Posed Prom Portrait Ideas
From the museum steps, we walked over to the playing fields in front of the lighthouse for a few posed portraits. Which they ROCKED! Brayton and Ava are such a cute couple, and they were so much fun to hang out with. We went with prompts a little more than poses, such as “dip her, hold her a second, then kiss her;” and “give us a twirl!”

Brayton and Ava were so gracious. Brayton’s mom booked a super-long stretch limo for all their friends. So when we finished with their personal prom portraits, we grabbed a few group photos with all their friends.
I had so much fun with all these amazing students. Some of them were my #traciseniors, and it was fun catching up. I’m all about helping my seniors capture and display all their senior year memories.
