There’s no way we could have known last fall what was in store for this senior class. Born in the shadow of 9-11, and graduating under the quarantine of a global pandemic, this group of young people has learned resilience and perseverance in real-life circumstances.
I feel privileged to have captured the stories of this group of seniors, and I am really excited to congratulate them here. Show them some love, and drop a note in the comments below!
Cade – Valedictorian
Congratulations, Cade! Best of luck as you head off to college.
Dean – Salutatorian
Way to go, Dean! Can’t wait to see what your future holds!
Johnny – Class President
Thank you, Mr. President. When graduation was cancelled 16 hours before the ceremony, Johnny arranged a meeting with his school’s administration and said, “How can we make this happen?” And they made it happen.
Kelly – Cybersecurity Specialist
Kelly, headed off to Tennessee to major in cybersecurity. You are going to change the world, kiddo. Amazing things are coming. I am so very proud of you.
Tim – Fellow Photographer
I can’t wait to see the amazing things you’re going to create, Tim. Congratulations!

Spencer – Football
I have LOVED watching you play football for all of these years, Spencer. Best of luck as you head off to Palmetto Prep in the fall!
Mike – Football
Mike – you’re such a fighter. LOVED watching you play for the Eagles. You’re going to do amazing things at FAU. 🙂
Will – Soccer
Will played soccer for the JCS Eagles for a lot of years, and I have had so much fun watching his team and cheering for them. Way to go, Will!
Clayton played baseball for the JCS Eagles for a lot of years, and now he’s headed off to Wheaton College to continue that career. Congratulations, Clayton!
Walker – Baseball
This photo, y’all. A man and his dog. We stepped out onto first base, where Walker spent a lot of afternoons practicing, and played his last game in a season cut entirely too short by a global pandemic. And he said, “Can I do a couple of photos with my dog?” Um. Yes, please.
Roman – Football
I’ve spent a lot of Friday nights watching Roman and his teammates tear it up on the football field. Congratulations, Roman!
Riley – Grad Portraits
Riley’s mini-session for graduation portraits was one of my absolute favorites. His mom is a photographer, too, and she is one of the most fun people in the world to collaborate with on a visual story. Congratulations, Riley!
Patrick – Surfing Graduate
Patrick showed up for his graduate mini-session with his surfboard. *LOVE* Patrick ran cross country and track & field for his school, and I have loved following his career. Surfs up!
Damiana – Music & Theater
Damiana has a voice like an angel and a smile that lights up a room. Her singer-songwriter inspired story session will hit the blog in a couple of weeks, and it will be AWESOME! Congratulations, Damiana!
Jeremy – Tennis
Jeremy competed for his school’s tennis team for several years, and it was a lot of fun watching them in the spring! Congratulations, Jeremy!
Blake – Florida Stories
Blake’s senior session and his graduate mini-session both made a point of portraying Florida life. We shot his senior story session with the Jupiter Lighthouse on the horizon, and captured plenty of palm trees and sunshine in his graduate mini-session. Congratulations, Blake!
Ellie – Cheer
Ellie served on her school’s cheer-leading squad and represented her class on the Homecoming Court. Congratulations, Ellie!
Nick – Football
Nick caught an awful lot of passes over the course of his senior year. And it was a genuine pleasure watching his team. Way to go, Nick!
Carson – Beach Inspiration
Carson’s senior story, at the Juno Beach Pier, was one of my favorite’s this season. I’m super excited to see what comes next for Carson!
Karina – Heritage
Karina’s heritage-inspired senior portrait story session will be featured in a post in the weeks to come, so stay tuned! Karina is such a gorgeous young lady, with a smiling energy that makes her an absolute blast to hang out with. Congratulations, Karina!
Justin – Football
Justin and I had so much fun capturing his senior story that we ended up with several sessions. And most of them told the story of his football career. *LOVE* Justin’s headed off to Tennessee in the fall to continue playing. Way to go, Justin!
Justin – Basketball
Justin’s senior story was all about basketball, and I LOVED it! Congratulations, Justin!
Congratulations, Class of 2020 Seniors!
Dr. Seuss said,
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”
Thanks for letting me help you share a part of your story. You are all amazing, each in your own way, and I am so excited to see where you’ll go!
