Congratulations, Class of 2021 Seniors!

Y’all, this class had such a crazy year. These seniors started their school year under the shadow of a global pandemic, determined to do whatever they could just to sit in classes together. They endured sports events with no fans allowed (not even Mom!) They hauled plastic shields to each of their daily classes. I was amazed at how well they handled at-home learning when they were sent home for multiple close-contact quarantine calls. I heaved a sigh of relief with them as restrictions began to relax. I’m super proud now, at the end of the school year, to say, “Congratulations, Class of 2021 Seniors!”

It’s been a tough couple of years for my seniors. Every single one of these students had a specific and unique story to tell. Each one of them rose to personal challenges that they could not have imagined would face them. And every one of them trusted me to help them capture those stories with amazing images that they and their families will cherish forever.

Now that most of them have graduated, I wanted to take just a minute to say, “Thanks, guys, for letting me be a small part of your senior year story. Can’t wait to see how you change the world!”
