Lizzy’s Story | Juno Beach Basketball Senior Portraits

Lizzy’s mom and I connected at one of her junior year basketball games, and she was READY to plan Lizzy’s senior portraits. So was I! Lizzy was my first Class of 2023 senior, and we were both excited to create her senior story portraits. She knew she wanted to showcase her interest in sports. We also wanted to capture the beauty of the area where we live. Juno Beach basketball senior portraits, here we come!

Juno Beach Basketball Senior Portraits

Lizzy is all about basketball. So we wanted to capture those images first. But we also knew we wanted some pretty feminine images for her senior portfolio. We hit a lovely little park in PGA National with a gorgeous gazebo and lush greenery. Which also happened to boast a small playground and outdoor basketball court. PERFECT!

We had so. much. FUN! Lizzy’s mom and dad both came along, and took turns capturing behind the scenes photos, holding lights and generally making us all laugh. What a fun family. And what a fun session. I encourage my seniors to bring their parents to their sessions, for just this reason.

Your senior story session isn’t just a task you need to check off. It’s a precious memory that you and your parents will remember and enjoy for years to come.

Lizzy’s mom loved it. Check out her comments on Facebook:

Feminine Senior Portraits

Lizzy is athletic and active. But she’s also got a soft side. So when we finished her Juno Beach basketball senior portraits, we wanted to create some portraits that brought this out as well. We laughed a lot about trying to mirror one of her big brother’s senior portrait poses: “serious corporate headshot” – LOL.

Nailed it!

I love this little hidden park, with the dreamy gazebo and lush green backdrop. It’s so pretty. (Lizzy’s dad, however, kept hoping that an alligator would wander out of the water behind Lizzy for a photo bomb. I was NOT hoping that an alligator would wander into the shot). Lizzy was amused at both of us.

Juno Beach Senior Portraits

Lizzy and her mom wanted a few senior portraits on the actual beach, since it’s right there and we live so close to it. I mean, why wouldn’t you showcase Juno Beach, with its gorgeous strip of sand and wide open ocean expanse. I especially love the images we captured with the pier rising in the distance.

Lizzy nailed all of her senior portrait images, and we even managed to sneak in a couple of family portraits. I loved getting to spend this time with this amazing senior and her sweet family. Delivering her senior portrait collection was probably my favorite moment.

Thank you! I truly loved this session.

I am totally prejudiced here, because Lizzy is my only granddaughter, following the births of five wonderful grandsons. Traci did a wonderful job of bringing out both the strength and the beauty of this remarkable young woman. Our family is so blessed by Lizzy, and so grateful for Traci.

Oh, Lizzy, Is it possible? I know it’s your senior year, but I still remember that cute little girl you used to be. Now you’re such a lovely young woman. Congratulations on these beautiful photos! I especially love the one of you and your parents (you know they’re some of my faves!) God bless you!

I met Lizzy only once many years ago but have heard so many wonderful things about her childhood and her years of growing into a young woman. The senior photos have helped me to match the stories with the face – both lovely! The images truly capture her energy and her warm personality. A remarkable set of photos!
