Michael’s senior portrait session may have been my very favorite of the Class of 2017. Michael is multi-talented and multi-focused. His family is such an inspiration – tight-knit, full of fun and focused on family togetherness. I love it!
Showcasing Sports Memories
Michael wanted a session that commemorated his family’s adventures boating off the South Florida coast, and showcased his athletic endeavors. So I spent much of his senior session hanging off the back of a speedboat launched from the Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina, hoping that the black storm clouds looming over the ocean would hold off long enough for us to get a few action photos.
And boy, did Michael deliver. We zipped through a few wake boarding passes over the Intracoastal Waterway, then he climbed back into the boat and pulled out his big brother, Duane’s graduation cap and gown. So…now presenting – the graduating king of water sports!
Showcasing Family Memories
It turned out, too, that the storm skirted around the side of us, so we were able to get some really amazing images back at the Marina while Michael’s dad took his friends and his brother back out on the boat. This session really symbolized, for Michael and his family, the stories that they would remember from his high school summers.
Here’s what Michael’s mom said about his senior story session: “My biggest concern was making Michael’s senior portrait session uniquely his. Having an older brother who graduated 2 years prior, I wanted to be sure Michael’s senior pictures represented him and his personality. My concern was erased when Traci went above and beyond to personalize Michael’s session. She was awesome and took extreme measures to be sure Michael had an amazing experience!”
Michael graduated from Jupiter Christian School where he played basketball and lacrosse. He was a member of the National Honor Society, on the Homecoming Court and made an impression on everyone he met. He will be attending Palm Beach Atlantic in West Palm Beach, Florida.
I will be looking forward to another session in a couple of years when Michael’s younger brother is a senior. And he’s already warned me that he’s working hard to think of ways to top his big brother’s wave-jumping graduate images.
I can’t wait!
