I love Nick’s great big loving family. In fact, they’re the kind of family that makes you feel like you are family as soon as you walk through their front door. Theirs is not really just a house – it’s a home.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing milestones and moments for Nick’s family for several years now – his older brother’s football career, special events, his grandmother’s birthday celebration and family Christmas card portraits.
So I already felt like I knew Nick when his sweet mom called about senior portraits. And they were amazing!
Nick played baseball for The Benjamin School’s Buccaneers, and he’s headed off to Furman University in the fall to play for the Paladins. So it just made sense for us to start Nick’s session on the field at Benjamin where’s he’s been at home for so many years. It’s pretty exciting, having the whole diamond to yourself.
Seniors, the making of these portraits are so much more than just “having your picture taken.” It’s a time when your families can remember where you’ve been, and look toward where you’re going. It’s a gift during such a busy time of your life to slow down for an afternoon, hang out and have fun. And make some AMAZING images.
Senior Portraits At Your Own Home!
We finished off Nick’s session with one of my favorite kinds of sessions: at-home portraits. Seniors, your house is where you’re the most comfortable. Moms, images that are made in your home will already be a guarantee to match your décor when you hang them on the wall. So, having your portraits made at home is a great idea!
Thanks again, Nick, for a great session. Best of luck at Furman in the fall!
